BROOKLYN, N.Y. -- St. Joseph by-the-Sea scored three runs in the top of the sixth inning and then held on to beat Kennedy Catholic in the CHSAA Archdiocesan championship title game, held Sunday night at Maimonides Park in Coney Island.
The Vikings’ Nicky DiMartino, who struck out eight batters, was the winning pitcher, while A.J. Vigliotti was the catcher.
